This was my 1st time visiting in over 30 years. The wait is still long, and the food still tastes good. They, however, do have a better waiting system. I would recommend calling your order in.
I wish people would understand that this is not a fast food restaurant!!! If 10 people order their food back to back in a 10 minute window some ordering 3+ hoagies please understand it’s gonna take a while for them to get to your order! They’re preparing the food made to order. If that’s hard to understand maybe you shouldn’t patron here especially at the same time as 20 other customers. I’m happy with my food every time even if i have to wait a minute because I know it’s gone be good.
When you have a taste for this you have to go.... it's a Chicago thong for sure sweet fries and steak and turkey hoagie always in point... you have to pay cash only and wait 45 minutes guaranteed but plan that into the visit...even if u call it in. Go to the middle lane!
30yrs of going here and food sl is still delicious ???? steak sweet is my favorite for years now. I wish they would bring back the ice cream. I grew up eating here. Just love it. They just need friendlier employees. Their grouchy.
The food is absolutely delicious the The wait time might be longer than I like but I've been to other places that sell the same sandwiches and they're were not as good.
OH MY GARSH! This place is great ????????????????????????????????. Call the fire department if you need help with the Hot and Sweet Peppers that make this wonderful sandwich spontaneously combust. ???? ???? ???? Boom, right in your mouth. Way too good! Digi-lishious, Enjoy!
If you are trying to lose weight STAY AWAY, but if you are trying to indulge in old school Roseland Rainbow Hoagies or south side 87th Taurus Beef, well they just had a baby and named it Flitchys. Eat at your own risk I bought the steak and turkey hoagies and ate them both in one sitting. I’m up here wondering where did it all go wrong with my diet. Devon

I grew up eating the steak sandwiches and fries. I never had anything else they sell because of how great tasting the steak is. I've introduced so many friends and family members to the place. I look forward to continuing to enjoy the steak when I'm in town.
